Weekend sightings

A couple of nice sightings over the past weekend.

There was a juvenile Bald Eagle at Lincoln Woods State Park.

Spotted a friendly Golden-crowned Kinglet along the Turner Reservoir trail. The happy song caught my attention.

Those sound fun. Juvenile bald eagles can be hard to pin down, especially the first year or two before their feathers start visibly bleaching. I had to look up the kinglet, I'd never seen one before.
