Eastern Towhees
Tuesday, November 12th, 2024 02:46 pmI was surprised to hear and catch a quickly glimpse of an Eastern Towhee. I thought they already migrated by now. I'm still seeing our usual birds - Blue Jay, Mourning Dove, Northern Cardinal, Black-capped Chickadee, White-breasted Nuthatch and of course House Sparrow.
And squirrels are always around!

Mine are fox squirrels. I saw a young gray squirrel a couple times this fall but not recently. It's probably been eaten, though I suppose it could still be around.
