Gorgeous Sunday, Rainy Monday
Sunday was a perfect New England fall day, great day for a hayride and pumpkin picking. Plus some fall cleanup and decorating. Someone posted a awesome photo of Bald Eagle at Boyden Heights. All I saw were some Blue Jays and Double crested Cormorants. Another birder friend post a tip to collect and freeze acorns for feeding squirrels in the winter months. I'm going to give it a try!
The only negative was the terrible NE Patriots home loss to Miami!
Today is a wet rainy fall day, but it's been dry lately so we need the rain.

Yay!
That sounds lovely.

We have those here in central Illinois. There's a lake not far away which is near a nature sanctuary that has riverfront -- it's up over 1000 acres now -- so I think they're based in that area.

We have bluejays here at the moment, but no idea if they'll stick around.,

Lucky you. It's bone-dry here.
