Eastern Towhees
I was surprised to hear and catch a quickly glimpse of an Eastern Towhee. I thought they already migrated by now. I'm still seeing our usual birds - Blue Jay, Mourning Dove, Northern Cardinal, Black-capped Chickadee, White-breasted Nuthatch and of course House Sparrow.
And squirrels are always around!

And squirrels are always around!

Thoughts
It looks like my tufted titmouse is sticking around. :D I've seen a chickadee several times.

Oh, a gray squirrel! Feel free to share that picture over on
Mine are fox squirrels. I saw a young gray squirrel a couple times this fall but not recently. It's probably been eaten, though I suppose it could still be around.

We also have at least two bucks, a Y buck and an older one with quite the rack, chasing does all through the backyard.
A large flock of robins, along with the chickadees and jays, fill the birdbath daily. Above us was a turkey vulture gliding skillfully in the winds, pursued by a hawk and then the crows.
Gotta love nature!
